Circus Barca of Catalunia

I love Barca and I love Lionel Messi, but I hate the “suits” taking care of the so called business – with one exception, Eric Abidal of course. The issue has been addressed many times in the last few years and I will definitely continue to address the lack of new talents on the first team. Does “La masia” still exist? The romance of the greatest team to ever play the game was the fact that they actually managed to play eleven starters, who grew up in “La masia”. The 25 of November 2012 the starting lineup was as follows:

Victor Valdes, Martin Montoya, Carles Puyol, Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba, Xavi, Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta, Pedro, Lionel Messi and Cesc Fabregas.

NOW THAT IS FUCKING AWESOME! and it proved that money can not win over true football hearts – but WHAT DA FUGG HAPPENED?

Sandro Rosell?? Josep Bartomeu?? Im thinking both.

There is no doubt about the fact, that the youngsters need the quality to get to the first team, but for to long we have widnessed the greatest talents of Barca being sold to the premier league and I will slap Bartomeu if this nasty development doesn’t change. Im hoping that Valverde will change it a bit, but the fact is that the biggest talents are sold, so how many talents can he chose from?

  • Marc Cucurella looks exiting – left back, technical, quick and skilled.
  • Sergi Palencia – right back, captain of B side, quick, a fighter.
  • Oriol Busquets WOW – defensive midfielder, technical, short passer, skilled.
  • Carles Alena – box to box, technical, strong, skilled – only one of the youngsters to be incuded in the first team this year – as it look right now.

To finish this session of, I want to determine the fact that Barca need the talents. If that identity is taken away, Barca will just be the Real Madrid of Catalunya. Johan Cruyff must be slapping someone from his grave right now!
