Balls’ Bets, Sunday 7th October 2018
Result: 0-0, Liverpool – Manchester City draw.
Result: 1-1, Valencia – Barcelona draw.
This match will be so crazy. These two teams of never-ending power are clashing at Anfield on sunday. Last year the match at Anfield between the two, ended with seven goals and a 4-3 win for Liverpool. This year the two teams are closer to each other as far as power and quality and I suspect a more balanced match. That being said, I still suspect a lot of goals. Liverpool will want to help their fans forget the Napoli defeat and this match is the best way to do it. Liverpool have an incredible point average at home in the Premier league and they will want to keep that going. The reds are strong, but Manchester city are still the team to beat in the Premier league. They will arrive confident as they should. They have had difficulties lately though, specially in the Champions league, but they will travel to Anfield with a win in mind.
Balls’ Bets 1: x
Liverpool – Manchester city. More than 2,5 goals.
The latest history between the two suggest a lot of goals. Seven goals at Anfield last year in the Premier league and three in the Champions league on Merseyside territory. In general, these two class teams score a lot of goals and they rarely finish a game without putting the ball in the net. Both of them defend with the ball, so we are once again witnessing two teams who will want to attack each other and show of for the fans, the people and the public in general. A lot of goals will be scored and I’m looking forward to this match like a mad man.
Balls’ Bets 2: x
Valencia – Barcelona. Barcelona will win.
This match should be an easy one for Barca. They look like a team ready to win again after the Tottenham match. Valencia also traveled to England in the midweek, where they clashed with Manchester united and Valencia are not experienced with these midweek matches. Valencia are good at defending themselves having only conceded six goals in seven matches. At home they have to go for the win, but if Valencia push forward, then Barca will strike. We saw Messi at his best against Tottenham and he will be ready to shine once again. If the rest of the Barca team can perform as well, then I see nothing but a win for Barca who really need the three points.
